Although Nintendo just released their upcoming Wii and DS release date schedule, the list focused on Nintendo developed titles and skimped out on third-party games.

So we will rectify this situation by pointing out the release dates of a handful of big-name Sega Wii games.

Sega has announced that The Conduit has a release date of this June for the Wii. The game, as you may recall from our previous coverage, is a Wii-exclusive first-person shooter developed by High Voltage Software that won many awards at E3 2008 including Best Graphics Technology on Wii, Best Wii Shooting Game and Best Overall Wii Game.

The title will allow players to customize their control scheme including configuring the look sensitivity, turning speed, dead zone and lots more as players dive into the mystery behind an alien invasion that may have been brought on with help from the government itself. The game is powered by the developer’s own technology, their “groundbreaking” Quantum 3 engine which they say will allow for graphics that players have yet to experience in a first-person shooter on the Wii. Additionally, the game will fully support online play including the ability to voice chat with the Wii Speak peripheral. The game will even support Nintendo’s upcoming Wii MotionPlus accessory for improved control with the Wii Remote.

Sega also revealed Madworld‘s release date as March 10th. Madworld is Sega’s ultra violent beat-em up’ with a striking black and white on red (or rather, with splattering of red) style that is sure to turn heads.

Finally, don’t forget that Sega’s retooled launch of The House of the Dead hits Wii on February 10th with The House of the Dead: Overkill.

Looks like Sega is doing Wii fans good this time as their upcoming Wii line-up looks outstanding. Hope you got your wallets braced!

Oh I cannot wait for the Conduit! It’s going to be so exciting! Voice Chat (Main reason why I’m getting the game), 16-player online, and customization! And it’s rated T for Teen by the ESRB! AWESOME! Too bad there’s no WiiMotionPlus, but oh well. If Onslaught for WiiWare, another first-person shooter release one and a half month ago on the service can work well without WiiMotionPlus, imagine how well The Conduit will do!
