What The Sims 3 expansion packs would you like to see?

With The Sims 3 finally released in June, in a similar fashion to the rest of the series, we should expect expansion packs in 2009 and beyond! So… What kind of The Sims 3 expansions would you like to see?

Here are a few ideas the developers at Electronic Arts have been playing around with. One of these could very well be the first The Sims 3 expansion pack. Around the time The Sims series sold 100 million copies worldwide, in an interview with The Sims’ studio head Rod Humble, he mentions what expansions were canceled and which expansion ideas not used for The Sims 2 might be used in the future [read: The Sims 3]. Of special note is that he said that: “Most of the expansion packs we have brought to market have been created from fan reaction or feedback as we listen to our audience and respond with making exciting additive content available to them.”

Expansion pack ideas list:

“Other ideas I’ve seen in the community include a rave/party pack and science fiction pack,” he told Joystiq.

The supernatural aspects in The Sims games have always been fan favorites, not to mention favorites within our studio! We’re creating some fun surprises new and old fans are going to love in The Sims 3. “I personally absolutely hate everything supernatural in The Sims 2, but the team loves putting it in by way of mocking. So the expansion pack team now designates, ‘What supernatural thing do we put in to piss off Rod?’ Because I really, really hate it,” he laughed when talking to 1UP.

Monkey Of Pure Sim awesomness

(This is just my idea) I think they should be a Ancient Arts,where you learn Sim Fu or Tai Sim Do. And you fight crime around the city(Career idea) Or just rob banks. The new objects can be like Meditating mat or A book of ancient arts.The new sim creature(that you can control) would be a mudusa(Female only) Where you turn somone into stone for 3 sims days.The new place should be Dojo where you train with 2 new skills(focus and power).A new place to go is The Training Grounds where you pratice your skills.The new game play is Trying to get to the dojo on a cliff.( pets ep only)You can have a flying serpent if it gets what it want will leave diamounds and gold, however if not than it leaves without a trace and burns a random objects.

My next idea is Weather Wonders. Where through hard work and training can learn to control weather will you make hail the size of mini vans to crush your enemies or Make Rainbows and cheer to make you girlfriend blush. The seasons are Winter,spring,fall,and summer (Weather varies on place and location) chose 3 new Worlds-Winter View-Spring village-Fall Tales. The new places to go are Winter camp(Snowboarding and skiing) Spring Hikes and Goals(Climb up a huge mountain) and Nature Wonders thrive in a rich soothing falls to say in a cabin for 4 sim days.Sometimes Harsh Blizzards,floods,and heat waves will happen.New careers-Snow Racer-Leaf Blower(to a lumber jack)-or even a storm chaser.In some cases Places like the pool are closed is snow and fall.
