Bethesda has released the first Downloadable Content update for Fallout 3 called Operation: Anchorage. The update is available now for purchase on both Xbox Live and Games for Windows - Live at a cost of 800 Microsoft Points.
Operation: Anchorage focuses on a pivotal event in the Fallout timeline before the Great War took place, namely the attempt by the United States Army to liberate Anchorage from its Chinese Communist invaders and in turn drive the Chinese forces out of Alaska.
The pack contains several new quests, a selection of new items, a new perk and adds 4 new achievements and is rated M for Mature (Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Sexual Themes, Strong Language and Use of Drugs).

The four added Achievements (worth a total of 100 Gamer Points) are:

* Paving the Way (20GP) - Completed “Paving the Way”
* Operation: Anchorage (40GP) - Completed “Operation: Anchorage”
