Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings has been announced for Nintendo Wii, DS and PSP. Indy will be making his return to gaming in Spring 2009. This according to a Youtube teaser video that was put online so early that developer LucasArts haven’t even confirmed the game with a press release yet.
It would seem that this isn’t the same as the in 2005 announced Indiana Jones game for Xbox 360 and PS3, which may have been cancelled. While it may not have the same next-gen physics, at least in the Wii version fans of the movies should finally be able to swing around with Jones’ whip!
The danger-seeking archaeologist seeks out fortune and glory in environments all over the globe in this adventure game. Watch the Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings debut trailer:
