King of Fighters XII trailer highlights roster and artwork

King of Fighters XII still does not have a specific release date outside of Japan but it will be published in Western territories by Ignition Entertainment. The game will be released in Japan in April for the arcades, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The game is 100% hand-drawn and features brand new sprites for the first time in 10 years and will feature a roster of 20 characters, the lowest ever for a King of Fighters game.

This new extended trailer for King of Fighters XII reveals all the game’s characters (both artwork and in-game sprites) and reveals a smattering of gameplay after each character is shown.

The entire roster includes: Andy Bogard, Ash Crimson, Athena Asamiya, Benimaru Nikaido, Chin Gentsai, Clark Still, Duo Lon, Goro Daimon, Iori Yagami, Joe Higashi, Kim Kaphwan, Kyo Kusanagi, Leona Heidern, Raiden, Ralf Jones, Robert Garcia, Ryo Sakazaki, Shen Woo, Sie Kensou, and Terry Bogard.
