Shaun White Snowboarding 2 is already in development says titular pro snowboarder Shaun White in an interview with Reuters.
In the article Shaun White states:
“Now that I have the knowledge and I can speak to programmers better and I understand a lot more about what’s possible and what’s not possible, this will all help with the next game.”
It was also revealed that the Wii version of Shaun White Snowboarding has sold 259,000 copies since it’s release, with 40% of the multiplatform game sales being the Wii version of the game (Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip). The Wii version uses the Wii Balance Board that was included with Wii Fit as a makeshift snowboard (but also cna be played with normal Wii Remote and Nunchuck controls) for an interesting approach to the typical snowboarding video game experience.
