How to unlock all secret Dynasty Warriors 6 characters? That question will be answered in this guide that shows you who to unlock to get the full roster and how to do it.

Below we’ve listed the 32 secret characters in alphabetical order. Take the following steps to unlock each one.

1. Cao Cao — Clear Musou Mode with 3 Wei characters
2. Cao Pi — Deafeat Cao Pi within 5 minutes on Sun Jian side of He Fei
3. Cao Ren — Succeed in Battle Objective 2 on the Lu Bu side of Fan Castle
4. Diao Chan — Clear Musou Mode with 1 character from each Kingdom
5. Dong Zhuo — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Lu Bu side of The Battle of Hu Lao Gate
6. Gan Ning — Clear Musou Mode with 1 Wu character
7. Guan Ping — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Shu side of Fan Castle and finish battle with Guan Ping alive
8. Huang Gai — Succeed in Battle Objective 3 on the Wu side of The Battle of Chi Bi
9. Huang Zhong — Succeed in 1 battle objective on the Wei side of Ding Jun Mountain
10. Ling Tong — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Wei side of the Battle of Shi Ting
11. Liu Bei — Clear Musou Mode with 3 Shu characters
12. Lu Bu — Clear Musou Mode with Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Diao Chan, and Sun Jian
13. Lu Meng — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Wei side of He Fei
14. Ma Chao — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Wei side of Han Zhong Attack Defense Battle
15. Pang Tong — Succeed in 3 battle objectives at Cheng Du battle and finish battle with Pang Tong alive
16. Sun Ce — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Sun Jian side of the Battle of Xia Pi
17. Sun Jian — Clear Musou Mode with 3 Wu characters
18. Sun Quan — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Lu Bu side of The Battle of Chi Bi
19. Taishi Ci — Defeat him in the Battle for Wu Territory
20. Wei Yan — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Shu side of WuZhang Plains and finish battle with Wei Yan alive
21. Xiahou Yuan — Succeed in 1 battle objective on the Shu side of Ding Jun Mountain
22. Xiao Quio — Succeed in Battle Objective 3 on the Wu side of the Battle of Shi Ting
23. Xu Chu — He Fei, Wu side, Personally kill Cao Ren and Xu Chu
24. Xu Huang — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Wei/Wu side of Fan Castle
25. Yuan Shao — As Wei, complete all 3 targets and capture Wu Chao before completing the stage.
26. Yue Ying — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Wei side of the Battle of Wu Zhang Plains
27. Zhang Jiao — Beat stage with completing all three targets in the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Playable in only Free Mode and Challenge Mode
28. Zhang Liao — Clear Musou Mode with 1 Wei character
29. Zhen Ji — Succeed in Battle Objective 1 on the Lu Bu side of the Xu Du Invasion.
30. Zheng He — Succeed in 2 battle objectives on the Shu side of Han Zhong Attack Defense Battle
31. Zhou Tai — Succeed in 3 battle objectives on the Shu side of Yi Ling
32. Zhuge Liang — Clear Musou Mode with 1 Shu character

NOTE: Reach level 25 with a character in any mode to unlock his/her alternate/second costume.

These are the different modes that you can unlock, followed by how to unlock them:

* Chaos Mode/Hell Difficulty — Clear Musou Mode with 1 character from Wu, Shu, Wei, and Other.
* Master Mode/Very Hard Difficulty — Clear Musou Mode with any 1 character.
* Voice Gallery — Raise up any character’s experience to level 50. A Voice Gallery will be unlocked for that character in the Camp.
* Movie Player — Successfully complete Musou mode to unlock the Movie Player.
