Oblivion 2 maybe coming in 2010

Bethesda Softworks, creators of The Elder Scrolls RPG series (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) and more recently Fallout 3, have said in a recent interview that “Oblivion 2″ AKA “The Elder Scrolls V” will be released in 2010.

Paul Oughton, Bethesda publishing executive, had this to say: “At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010. At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ll continue to pursue three or four titles a year and go for big titles,” he told GI.biz about the company’s publishing plans for the future.

Last month Bethesda also indicated they wish to release Fallout 4 by 2011.

you know what i think would be cool in oblivion2 if you wher allowed to go to the shivering isle ond get knights of the nine without an ecspanshon pack. you should also be abe to get yo be an emporor but you get robbed and turn poor then the story of the game should be to rise back to bwing imporor

i dont think the game has to change much jast some more armor and be able to buy awsome wepons instead of finding the best ones i hope you guys understand lol
i also think dragons would be a good idea only as transport no fire breathing tho and as for a wife and kids forget it if you want that play fable well does any1 agree ??

Everything you could ever think of to make oblivion better has probably already been implemented by the modding community. This is why the elder scrolls series is brilliant. If you’ve got it on xbox…your missing out.

i have probely done every thing on oblivon but for oblivion what you could add is you go to work and get promotid but u dont have to go to work and you can add a skill thats called construction so you can build and customiz your house or build a mansion and add a quest to get martin back also you cauld make the map bigger and add helms deep off of lord of the rings two so you could have huge battles so like you actule have to kill 10000 men in battle what do u think.? coment if u like

Oblivion 2… are you serious?

the net “Elder scrolls” game will be Elderscrolls V not Oblivion 2, i mean if you are a fan of the game then you need to understand this key fact that its not the first of the Elderscrolls series.

me and some friends googled Oblivion 2 as a joke and found this blogg. we were rolling on the floor laughing after seeing the this blog and some of the comments.

from most forums I have read and blogs I have seen the majority of people wish for Elder scrolls V to be an MMO, I simply think that this will not work with the story of Elder scrolls, instead to give a new perspective on the game there should be a Co-Op mode that works similar to the Diablo 2 multiplayer in which the quests and mobs because harder when players connect and you can ether play with or without an internet connecting (the only time I spend hours playing Oblivion is when my Internet is down XD)

yh blud u need to get it right, ive been a fan of da oblivion series ever since i got addicted to the morrowind series, bat da second oblivion game will not be set in da oblivion cuntyz…. soooo da game cant be calls oblivion 2 unless if the stories are set at simmilar stuff

the next oblivion should allow pets, and wife and kids….. more armor….. more weapons…… more towns….. more terrain…. and most of all a more natural flow…… things are stiff in elders scrolll, make things more natural…. and also give different and cooler looking sword swings and punches, put in kicks too…. be able to change the color of clothes and armor, so you don’t find as many people wearing the same thing you are…. give the other characters more personality like in fallout 3… also more weapon types like spears that would make the next oblivion ausome

Imo when you get to be a Emprerror you should be able to declare war on guilds and npcs’s since as an Empreror it would make sence trying to monopelize your power and inlufence and take it away from others

Being an emporer would begin moving into Fable 3, because in Fable 3 you are king.
