All version of Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC) have certain tricks to give you an advantage.

This video shows where you can find Dogmeat in the Capital Wasteland of Fallout 3.

If you need more details, then the following descriptions might help you find your four-legged friend better. Go to the town of Megaton, there the shopkeeper Moira can give you the Minefield quest. Now go south / south-east from Minefield as you look for a junkyard, on the world map this Scrapyard is in the top right corner of the square that is two squares directly below Minefield. Dogmeat can be found fighting a Raider in this Scrapyard. Save him from the Raider and talk nicely to him to get him to join you.
NOTE: If Dogmeat dies in combat, he’s dead forever! So save often and/or sometimes leave him behind at places to keep him alive.

This video shows that you can manipulate the game’s difficulty while in-game (via the menu), in order to score higher XP against easy enemies. Watch the video to find out how.

The following item glitch allows you to spam items from a Slaver character in the Slaver Camp in Paradise Falls, when you’re evil, as shown in the video below. But when you play as a good person, you’ll have to visit Megaton and find the African-American Megaton Settler who will run up to you.

Need help finding your way around the game? This Capital Wasteland Google Map shows just about anything you can find in-game.
