Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row’s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

Saints Row needs a graphics overhaul. S.R. should look better than GTA4 and future GTA games should play like S.R. S.R. needs vehicles with some weight though,that’s my biggest gripe and graphics and sound effects. NEED NEW LOCATIONS FOR ALL GAMES DON’T BEAT IT INTO THE GROUND. GRAPHICS NEED TO BE REALISTIC,GAMEPLAY DOES NOT,YOU DON’T HAVE TO SIMULATE REAL LIFE. WATCHING T.V. COMEDY CLUBS STUFF LIKE THAT IS DUMB, STRIPPERS ARE GREAT, HOE BAGS

i like the graphic for saints row but it should expand beyond stillwater. I like the dating of GA4 that maybe be nice to put into the came, or the video game playing just add things other than the mission and side activities.

The Saints Row series is the best video game series ever created and I hope 3 is going to be the bombdiggitiest pwnage superfly gangsta gangsta one so far… and thats sayin a lot. XD.

SR 1 & 2 are great video games. But you need to be more in depth with the graphics. And story lines as well need to be more in depth as well. What ever happened to Benjamin King? You should bring him back as the return of the King. You killed the leader of the saints on part 2 so he should come back to try to get at you………

Saits Row 3 should take more after Grand Theft Auto its not a bad game but theres nothing to do after you beat it and kill Julius and gets so boring make stilwater bigger and make the game more realistic
