Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row’s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

SAINTS ROW 3 IS VERY NICE BUT PLEASE PWEEEEESSS MAKE MORE BUILDINGS TO ENTER, SOMETHING LIKE FULL RUNNING SUPERMARKETS,OR APARTMENT HOUSES LIKE OTHER PEOPLE HOUSES IN THE GAME SO THAT YOU CAN ENTER THEM WHEN EVER RISK GETTING THE POLICE CALLED ON YOU WAY COOL?

N da nxt saints row u shud b able 2 start off @ age 15 and b able 2 create ur own hood customize there colors and wat they wear. also let your character b able to customize his house wit lik paint and other stuff and let him slp n da beds of his cribs wit a gurl. Have more clothes and harder missons bcuz da missions r 2 easy 4 most ppl even if its on hard. Hav more than 3 hoods and longer missions and more guns
the aactivities are cool as they are but hav a better snatching activity lik running up on ppl an d taking the stuff.Also Bring bacc Julius with Ben King and Kill Dex!!! Show how the character b able lif story. And PLEASE PLEASE PUT IT ON CO-OP!! So ppl can take out other gangs offline. Thank you 4 listening 2 my thoughts and i hope you concider these things

ALSO iF U add real Gangs i think more ppl will buy the game just 2 play wit there hood or the hood they lik so you would still b making alot of money and more sells means more chances of becoming #1 game but dont add all the hoods just add the 1’s that seem important

saints row 3? sweet!!! i just got saints row 2 knot to long ago and still loving it i allso baught an exbox 360 and got the first one knot as good as the second one but still a great game after this THQ needs to make more games like saints row that take place in other cities SR3 VS GTA5 it’s going to be a huge face off!

Something that i hated in saints row 2 was goning into a gun shop and looking at the display guns such as the dragonov vI3 sniper and not being able to but them. also heres an idea for an asome vehcicle…the saints tank. to be hounest i don’t like the idea of creating your own gang but their should be way more customisation options.

ps: what the h3ll happened to platinum jewllery!

i love saints row series , me and a bunch of my freinds and me was talkin about some ideas it would be cool to get dogs, you know like german shephers, bulldogs, rottweilers huskeys stuff like that, be able to train the to protect you or go after someone like a police dog does, be able to swim, get tanks sumarines, and more guns like a version of a tommy gun, or a a druganov, guns with bayonets and more clothing, be able to make him anything from a apache warrior to a modern day army sniper, other types of swords i hope that these ideas will be considered thanks.

and like other people have said interactive buildings animals like deer stuff like that i really love the dog idea
