Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row’s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

U should be able to build your own car from scratch. Then boink in it. And u should be able to blow off arms and stuff. Then boink some more. Also the house should be more interactive wen u customize it. So you can have a better time while u boink in it. So every ones happy. Expically wen u boink. =)

Im expecting alot from SR3. I have followed the series from day one and there was alot left out of SR2 multiplayer. I think there were enough gangs and missions, and you can play the missions over and over again. It took a while to beet the game and am now working on co-op. SR3 NEEDS CO-OP AND NO MORE LAGGING ON GANGSTA BRAWL!

O, and what is this thing about more missions, i mean come on it is really long as it is. I play ALOT and it took me like 2-3 weeks! And about the activities, im still trying to beat them all and i bought this game months ago!

Yes as stated above i’ve played this for a wile and to be honest this is the 1st mob/gangster game (kills GTA) that i’ve enjoyed and has a story oppoed to multiple and random killing i hope this games turns out like resident evlil type of series like the ammount of games that all tie in with each other i do plan on playing this game over and over haha

one thing i would like to see is a custom game of your own

which after you beat the game and as a past time you could make you own gang to replay the game but build your own gange

it would be cool to fight other custom made gangs

i loved saints row 2, i cant wait to see saints row 3.i hope they add animals,kids,and let buildings collapse like rumerd in the 2nd one i was lookin’ forward to that. I also hope they add new cars,weapons,and i hope u get to kill Dex

i just hope they dont do the activities thing again, i found that it sucked doing activities before you have to do a mission that was really annoying for me!!
