Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row‘s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

This time Saints Row 3 should be sorta like sims.Saints Row 2 was a little similar to sims because on bothe games we can create a characters voice,age,gender,race and personality.We can also customize clothes and cars on both games.On Saints Row 3 we should be able to buy things from stores and place it in our storage.All stores should be accesible!PLEASE!!!Much bigger map so that we dont have to go around and see the same places over and over again.Actually buy funiture from stores.these should be new things that we can customize a home with.

Holidays should be added like christmas,halloween,easter,4th of july,thanksgiving,and new years day.We should be able to buy chrismas trees and so on for our crib.It would make the world feel more alive.Peds should react to the holidays such as having decorations on their homes,having parades,shooting fireworks,and ect.
We should also be able to shoot fireworks and also use them on people for fun like putting them in their clothes and having them catch on fire and blow up.We should also be able to buy presents for our family.
