Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row’s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

i think they should try and make the graphics way better plus the gameplay , its not very realistic looking or feeling it looks more cartoonish and i dont know if they made it that way but id rather it be more realistic. i think it would be awsome if they added in some free running and all that cause you could then have races and alot more missions types , maybe stealth kills and stuff too and yeah better car designs too plus the steering of the cars in sr2 was pretty lame so they could do alot better . there should be a much bigger world so you can have an acc use for the planes instead of just flyin for fun too like somone said .

yeah i think that instead of wearing purple all the time u can change the color not the name.and diffrent city’s yeah the saints need to spread. more gangs. say if u made a diffren. city like arizona it’s gangs there and gangs in stil water but there all diffrent gang. 2 last request u can go in more stores

Silencers on Guns!!! Free Running like someone said before, more power and speed in cars, another Airport at sea (military) and a black Hawk type helicopter! and the ability to recruit more than 3 homies!=] and more customise on guns!=]

this is my wishlist for sr3.

-more stores to visit and buy stuff
-prank call people
-buy diffrent cell phones
-more tv’s,computers,beds,couches,and more crib customization
-this might be crazy but watch tv like sports,cartoon,action,horror and more.
-go bowling,play pool,go to arcades,go to cinemas,play poker,and more.
-see peds go home,go to store,having parties,moving,listen to mp3″s,and wayyyyyyyy more.
-buy houses and mansions.
-buy camaras,mp3″s,phones,ect in stores.
-put more weapons and combat.
-get dates
-more crib interactions lounge,store food in fridge,ect.
-more vehicles bycycles,skateboards,skates,and more.
-more mini-games for the game system
-more-mini-games throughtout the city.
-sr3 should take place in a bigger and more realistic city.
-we should be able to ride the bus,taxi,train,and airplane.
-railroad crossing
-bigger highways
-lots of visitable places
-buy pets
-at least 19 radio stations with music from 2007,2008,and 2009.
-not to turn sr3 into gta 4 but i think we should be able to use the computers to play games,browse the web,and send messages to homies.also to buy stuff over the web and see news updates.
-more realistic driving,crashing,and steering physics
-when peds get shot in the leg,arm,stomach,or back they shuold fall not continue to run.
-for cribs we should also be able to buy fish tanks,kitchen stuff and bedroom stuff.
-see kids go to school
-fireworks as a weapon or for fun.
-more stuff to buy from the gas station and brown baggers.
-visitable places museums,zoo’s,buildings,more hospitals,fire dpt,mall with a lot more stores to visit,diners,theme parks,and wayyyyyyyy more!!!!!!
-if i have any more ideas then i will post them.

note that these suggestions maybe kind of crazy but im a huge fan of saints row and these are just ideas.
