Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row‘s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

i think that this game they have could actually beat the gta world if they fixed some of the major problems they have had in the 2nd saints row. number one is definitely the driving which i say is like your driving the same car over again with a different speed and weight. i would also like to see a lot of customization items this time like 2 times as much clothes. also they need about 10 more hideouts with nearly full manual customization for nearly each and every object. also you should be able to actually customize your gang without all the presets and randomization.

the other thing is that you should be able to make allies with the other gangs on the games. like the one that you almost had with the brotherhood.

i think they are pulling a fast one on us. i won’t believe that it comes out till it actually does. Don’t get me wrong i love saints row 2 i have played it through many times useing different ethnicities and voices so i can hear everyones reactions in the story. but how sketchy is it that it comes out on April 1st, 2010 a.k.a. APRIL FOOLS DAY!!! nice try…

i also think we should have more customize options for gangs to take out better gangmembers waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more guns and differt types of wepons and when it comes to ustomizing ur car we should have an option saying bullet pruffing and new cars always have 2 player free roam better activites and new ones and a new story base line stuff like that

clothse more of a options of clothing more of a gangster type of clothing better suits baggyer clothing better shoes like nikes or times jordans regular t shirts more graphic ts furniture stores and make it easier to earn respect quikly

i think you should not put that much sex or nudity in it.you should be able 2 hav girlfriends or boyfriends and take em on dates but you will hav more people buying it because alot of kids like it and there parents wont let them buy it if it has that in it.i also think that your gang members should shoot at people if they shoot at u not only if u shoot at them.there should be alot of video game stores that sell games that u can play at your house.there should be more voice options 2.AND U SHOULD BE ABLE 2 HAVE YOUR GANG MEMBERS DRIVE THE CARS and u should be able 2 tell them 2 stay in the car or wait as a getaway car if u rob a store.

Some things i want for SR3,

I think there should be Dogs, like Pitbulls, Sheferds and so on. Also i think more then three gang members, A house, more food and booze stuff like that and when you eat/drink it it should be longer. I also think you can sleep or actually sit on your furniture in your hood, and i think you can get a girlfriend/boyfriend and take them on dates and that stuff. Grafics are great little better though and a more cloths. For shure a bigger city or smaller and more citys i mean come on planes and airplanes are great but just flying them around is just too boring make a place where you can land, oh and make better grafics when you land on your parachute. Cars are great and all put more pop and rap in it, Great jobs, think about what you like for new jobs but i think you can be a cop and put cuffs on them, should take them to jail or just you know leave them there. And when you get 1 or two stars make it like the cops come close and say dont shoot or freeze and take you to jail in there cop car. When you get to jail you have your own room with another person and can do like missions like escaping or selling stuff there. Like i said earlyier you can sleep and make it like you have 5-20 minutes in jail/ 10 days, or just simpilly escape. Make it more free do what ever not very many missions more building to go into and more real life stuff my thoughts,
