Saints Row 3 confirmed to be in the works at Volition. Release date expected in 2010

Did you know the story of the Saints Row series was originally written as a trilogy? Developer Volition’s associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that they are already working on Saints Row 3.

In a recent interview he said that “Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction,” and that that’s why Saints Row 2 wraps up most of the loose-ends left over from the original Saints Row’s story. To quote: “In Saints Row 2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.”

No further details are known about the game, but it’s expected to have a 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There have been rumors that Dex is the main target in Saints Row 3, that the game will take place in Stilwater once again, and that there will be both old and new customizations, new activities, etc. Publisher THQ’s tentative release schedule reveals Saints Row 3 is planned to arrive sometime after April 1st, 2010.

Well see saints row 3 is gonna take a new direction and of course away from the gangbanging witch i read on a site about saints row 3 . This is somewhat of what i know

I hope that it will be just as good as the other two. i had so much fun playing them. It stinks that it is out in 2010. But i can wait. Nice job Dan Sutten!!!!!

you know what they should have in saints row 3, a zombie riot cheat, where your just walking around in stilwater and pull out your cell phone, activate the cheat and before you know it zombies are infecting everyone and your taking out a army of undead

i loved the 2nd one i cant wait foe saints row 3 i think in this one they should make it where you can fly planes into buildings and they take realistic damage i head rumours about it in saints row 2 but it did not happen

saints row 3 needs to have protect the pimp and blinged out ride. i cant belive saints 2 doesnt. why would u take something that makes you unique and fun and throw it away to make some crappy strongarm game. i garantee if saints 2 had protect the pimp it would have sold many more copies.
