Not to mention the whole romance with Bastila, which needs to have a good conclusion (I, for one, am all for them having a happy ending). The prospect of him supposedly never returning feels like a massive slap in the face. But then, I have been massively disappointed by the Star Wars content that has been coming out lately, and not just for this crappy MMO. The books, for instance, have really been phoned in, like the abysmal Legacy of the Force series. I don't like online gaming, but I've never done it in a world that will be like what Bioware is cooking up here. I have been sitting on the edge of my chair for KOTOR 3 since I finished the 2nd one, and am crushed that they won't be making it (yet). But this does indeed sound like it will be a far more rich, rewarding, complicated, huge, interesting and fun world than what they could put in the confines of a single-player console game. But since this takes place centuries after KOTOR 2, it doesn't mean they can't come back and do a KOTOR 3 in the future. I wanted it now, but I think the more I learn about The Old Republic MMORPG, the more excited I will be and in full agreement that it will be a far more kickass experience than KOTOR 3 ever could have been.
