The Last Remnant TGS 08 gameplay and cinematic video

Pre-Order The Last Remnant on Xbox 360The Last Remnant is Square Enix’s next RPG opus and is scheduled for release for the Xbox 360 on November 20th in a simultaneous worldwide release in the three biggest territories, North America, Europe and Japan.

And the first TGS 2008 (Tokyo Game Show) trailer has been revealed for the game and it’s a beast! Clocking in at four minutes the trailer shows an extensive amount of in-game cut-scenes as well as gameplay footage to get you hyped for the game’s imminent release.

The Last Remnant is significant for Square as it marks a new direction of games that are being developed with both the Western and Eastern markets in mind. To that end, it is also the first Square Enix title to be developed using Epic’s Unreal Engine 3. It’ll be interesting to see how well the game does in terms of sales for the various territories and if it does better than Square’s last Xbox 360 RPG, Infinite Undiscovery.

The Last Remnant will initially be released for Xbox 360, but will also hit PS3 and PC at a later date.
