Welcome to our “Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2″ competition where you have the chance to win either of the two biggest exclusive upcoming shooter games this year, the Xbox 360-exclusive Gears of War 2 or the PlayStation 3-exclusive Resistance 2!

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “Which game are you most looking forward to and why?”

im looking foward to resistance 2 because i want the ultimate experience that third person shooters cant give . resistance 2s epic 60 player online battles and 8 player co op is unrivaled really looking foward to this

Looking at over 90% of the previous comments I can see that the people replying are supporting their 360 or PS3 with no regard for the other console. The truth is, both of these are going to be amazing games but I’ll give the slight edge to Resistance 2.

I have both a 360 and a PS3 and have played Gears 1 and Resistance 1. Gears offered the more adrenaline pumping action while Resistance offered the somewhat stealthy WWII action coupled with an interesting storyline.

Here is why I’m looking forward to R2 more than Gears 2: Insomniac is an amazing developer and I have no doubt that they will deliver 110% with their 60 player multiplayer, 8 player co-op with an alternate storyline and of course the single player. No doubt, Gears 2 will be the best 360 game out this year and I will be purchasing both of these games but for the purpose of this I am saying Resistance 2 is the best.

I am looking forward to Gears of War 2 because of the amazing Unreal Engine that they are using and the killer story line.
It will dominate all other games this year.

RESISTANCE 2: because the story is great and it should have taken over the role as PS3’s halo instead of Killzone (a shame of a game)! i actually think that the 2 games are in different leagues, but choosing between the two, i would have to favor resistance 2. its all about the story, the drama, the epic events, and the multiplayer!

also, i slightly agree with Kurt McGee and his comment. both games are awesome!

I think that Gears of War 2 will be a much better game. Sure, Resistance 2 has 60 player multiplayer, but really anything is awesome with enough people. What made Gears so great was the intensity and confrontations. You never knew what would happen, minute long shotgun or sniper battles were the funnest 60 seconds I’ve had while gaming, and Gears 2 is promising to be even better. And either game could win on story, on one hand, a gritty last ditch effort for humanity (Gears) and on the other hand, a last ditch effort for humanity (Gears, wait, resistance?)

i am definetly looking forward to resistance 2 the most. because i have a ps3 and i have resistance 1 so i know what the story is abaut. i also played gears of war 1 on xbox 360 and it also is a great game but resistance 2 is just better. at least that is my opinion. thet story in resistance is just so good and the game also and like “why is it over , what is going to happen next”. it is a real cliffhanger. the graphics also the best in resistance cause if you look at gears of wars 2 it much greyer and resistance is more couler ful. but gears of wars is also realy good bet resistance wil be even better especialy the 60 player online wil be realy good.
