Welcome to our “Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2″ competition where you have the chance to win either of the two biggest exclusive upcoming shooter games this year, the Xbox 360-exclusive Gears of War 2 or the PlayStation 3-exclusive Resistance 2!

I’m most looking forward to Gears of War 2 because I played the first game endlessly, I love everything about gears and I can’t wait for the sequel.

I’m looking most for Gears of War 2 because of it’s sheer power to entice others to play it. It has amazing and realistic graphics,the first Gears Of War had amazing multiplayer so I’m sure that this one will be even better. They are adding new maps and this incredible new mode where hundreds upon hundreds of locusts rush at you and your 3 other companions. I’m the type of person who enjoys shooters for the fun and competition. The first gears of war was what got me hooked on the 360. Gears Of War 2 will change the world of gaming as we know it. Gears of War is my all time favorite game for the 360 and will still be until Gears of War 2 comes out and these are the reasons why I love Gears of War 2 and anticipate it the most. =)

You know when the first Resistance came out for PS3 as a launch title it was an amazing game. Given that fact Resistance 2 will most likely far surpass the first game in terms of graphics, gameplay, story etc.

Gears of War 2 is My Chosen game, Gears is brilliant. Its brilliant because the lighting effects ingame give the battle scenes alot more intensity the quality of lighting give this game a glistening appeal making the characters an objects stand out and look more realistic due to the extreme latest Unreal engine used. The sound adds to the suspense and tension during the game, e.g Walking through a corridor in the dark with a light flickering while there is silence suddenly ‘BOOM’ an emergence hole opens and you have to rush to cover. This was defintly a thrill point for me and other players, the speed and pace of having to shoot while searching for cover will keep me drawn to the screen for hours. One thing i love about this 3rd person tactical shooter is duck and dodge system and how innovative it is, the system forces players to conserve ammo, shoot more precisely and to take cover when necessary just to stay alive complementing the realism factor. The Environment is absolutley huge there is a lot of detail on the buildings and the surrounding in Gears 1 and you can expect better in Gears 2, once again showing you can have great quality surroundings with awesome gameplay. Unlike previous games where the AI was fairly poor every minute in Gears 1 is a fight to the death the AI is some of the best i’ve seen reacting to foot steps, light and then advancing cover on you to get the advantage so we can expect some great new features with the AI in Gears 2.

I’m Looking forward to this game because Gears was the only reason i bought an Xbox 360 and i believe firmly that GoW2 will fulfil all mine and your needs with everything it had in GoW1 and more. With the story continuing on from the cliffhanger of an ending, it’s near impossible for me not to buy such a superb quality game and have an out of this world experience together with a hugely captivating story line this game is sure to keep me on my toes for hours, days, weeks. That is why i am looking forward to Gears Of War 2!

Is that a chainsaw bayonet I hear behind me? Well…there goes my legs.

Absolutely, positively and all other words in the English dictionary related to ‘OMG I want Gears of War 2′ do I want…you guessed it, Gears of War 2.

Like every human being, I am an avid fan of Gears of War. I love it to pieces - before and after being splattered into small chunks from an orbital satellite-mounted laser, bless the hammer of dawn.

Playing through the original Gears of War was simply put, ‘The next-gen experience’. It was the first game I played when I purchased my Xbox 360 and what a play through it was. It also happened to be the first game I took online on a console. I thoroughly enjoyed both the single player and multiplayer portions of the game. As you can imagine, being the first next-gen console game I played, it has left quite an impression on me.

Back in February 20, 2008, Gears of War 2 was announced and all those fond memories of the original game came rushing back. I was born again!

Bigger, badder and generally more kick-ass then the original, Gears of War 2 is once again ready to set the standards of next-gen action titles. Gears of War was (and still is) a complete eye candy with beautiful scenery, sounds and the ability to make my jaw drop 10 inches below normal. A year later, Epic Game’s delicious cake has been spiced up with some some extra sugar, flower, cream and shrapnel to deliver an even more delicious game!

It’s hard not to get excited behind all the hype. The sequel has been approved in almost every aspect but still keeps the same formula which made the original so ‘epic’. I can’t wait to sit back on my couch and bring the glory days back, Gears of War 2 we need you!

i have played both of the games all the way through and i am more excited for R2(Resistance 2) with its amazing online, i feel like gears is a good game but more of a rented or a borrowed game. its just not a game that i would keep playing unlike resistance 2. i am still playing the first one. and i like the style better in resistance as well. gears is a great game, but just not as good as resistance in my opinion. i love the plot of resistance as well. when playing with friends we seem to get borred quickly with gears but when playing resistance we have hours of lots of fun, never seeming to get borred.

i was normally a pc gamer. but when i saw and played gears of war. i fell in love with it. it was my new best friend and the visual quality ,the kickass shooting and the storyline was of the hook. i love working my gun on those locusts, the chainsaw is incredible especially when it splashes blood all over the screen.
when i read that in GOW2 that i can use locusts as shields, and the much better guns and improved gameplay,my heart skipped a beat .
I CANT W8 TO GET MY HANDS ON GEARS OF WAR 2.

P.S i still play the first 1 and almost failed exams because i loved playing it day and night.

I choose Resistance 2.. i Played the beta.. and i used to play Gears of war before. I’ve got the feel for both games. Gears of war isnt that bad but being that its a third person gaming i find it more like “cheating” in a way. First person is more like a realistic way, although both are fictional, because if you had to place yourself in the game your eyes won’t let you say a whole 360 view around you, it’s more obvious that you’d only see in front of you. Resistance 2 beta was beautiful. play it day and night and im hooked to it. Im dieing for R2 to come out

I loved Gears of War 1, so the game I am looking forward to themost has to be Gears 2! It looks absoluley amazing with the chainsaw lancer battles! I really can’t wait ’til it comes out, because I have to have it!

I am looking forward to Resistance 2. R1 and GoW 1 were both awesome. 40 players online was madness but 60 players is just insane! Insomniac Games said players will need to play 420 hours to complete everything. I expect to do everything in GoW 2 in less than 200 hours. R2 is a huge 50 gig game vs. GoW 2 DVD. R2 also has 8 player online co-op and 2 campaigns!
