Welcome to our “Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2″ competition where you have the chance to win either of the two biggest exclusive upcoming shooter games this year, the Xbox 360-exclusive Gears of War 2 or the PlayStation 3-exclusive Resistance 2!

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “Which game are you most looking forward to and why?”

What are the rules? Winners must be located on planet Earth. All you have to do is leave a comment on this page with your answer before November 4th date is over. Of the two games Im looking forward to Resistance 2 more than GoW2.
Simply, Resistance 2 is upping its game more. The first was a fairly generic shooter with some flaws, which Insomniac look to have fixed on every level.
Then theres the side story in the Co-Op campaign. Youre effectively getting two games in one with that.

With Gears 2, I just feel that they’ve just gone for ‘bigger is better’ without looking to update the gameplay. I think of it more as a very polished expansion which then gets shipped as a stand-alone (Crysis: Warhead anyone?) than a whole new game.

Resistance 2 is clearly a whole new game that is updated from the ground up.

Gears of war 2 has new modes, weapons and characters. Resistance 2 has 60 PLAYER ONLINE & 8 PLAYER COOP and new modes. BUT i have to give it to Gears of war 2

Im looking foward to Gears of War 2 mainly because I didnt have the first one, and its the best looking game coming out to me plua the crazy weapons it has it would be a nice experience for me always wanted to play gears of war so I give it to Gears of War 2 really hope I win this one all my friends are getting it instead of call of duty waw

im looking forward to resistance 2. its going to have an insane online multiplayer, ampt up campaign for both single and co-op, and the story is being told by nathin hale this time. gears is going to be a great game but if resistance 2 comes to us with all its promises, it will win hands-down.

Me personally, I’m anticipating GOW2. I enjoyed the story and graphics on GOW cause I had just got it this past Xmas with my Xbox so it was a whole new experience. Plus I like running around outside and yelling “Bezerker!!” hahaha

i would have to say gears of war 2 because first of the overall story line of the first one. i also like the game play of it like how you could go up to a monster solider thing and cut him to small little pieces (how fun). any way the way the camera follows from behind and also how you could use walling as cover and press against it. there would be a long line of things why i choose this but over all it a great game so let hope the second live up to the first or does better

I would have to pick Gears of War 2.

If you played the first one there is no way you wouldn’t want to play the second, and Resistance didn’t really suck me in as much as Gears did.

Resistance 2 is going to be an amazing game!
Insomniac claim its their best game to date,
Resistance 1 was very good so this should be amazing!
I cant wait for the online 60 player, 8 player co-ops and brilliant range of guns!!!! and 100ft monsters!!

Cant Wait, the best reason to have a ps3 at christmas!!
