Dragonball: The Movie Videogame planned

Dragonball: The Movie posterTwentieth Century Fox wants to make games out of their movies, starting with the Dragonball: The Movie videogame! To achieve these plans, they’ve put Senior Vice President of New Media Licensing Gary Rosenfeld in charge of their Licensing & Merchandising’s games development staff.

To quote: “Rosenfeld will explore opportunities in the growing PC online game space and investigate new business models and partnerships in the console publishing area. A handful of Fox properties will make it to the top of his list as he begins this new endeavor, starting with the studio’s major upcoming film releases and television brands, including Avatar, Night at the Museum – The Battle Of The Smithsonian, Ice Age 3, Dragonball, The Simpsons and Family Guy.”

It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out. But it’ll have to overcome the stigma placed on such low quality movie-based games as Street Fighter: The Movie game, which was also based on a live-action fighting movie like Dragonball: The Movie.

this one will definitely be an interesting game

Booo…!!!!

No it wont, every one knows that every game based on a movie sucks.

This movie will even suck, Goku’s in school??

Krillin gets replaced by Weaver??

This sh*t gonna fail

yeah it wont start gettin interesting until the saiyan saga

oh this is so stupid.

if they make a trilogy oyut of it the first movie is gonna go to the end of dragonball then the second movie would be the saiyan sagaand the third movie wld be the freiza saga, am i right an i think this movie will suck

Have you guys seen the new trailer on dbthemovie.com…it looks sick as f*ck

were you half blind? the trailer sucked!! evrything has changed except the space shuttle (which is the only thing well done)..the hair styles and clothing is a disaster..where are piccolo’s antennas? not every succesful franchises need to be turned into live-action you know…i would much rather see a remake of the series into a trilogy animated so to not destroy its greatness
