Heavenly Sword’s Nariko actress gets own show: Fringe

Anna Torv who did the voice acting and motion capture for Heavenly Sword’s Nariko will star in her own show called Fringe. The show premiers tonight at 8/7 Central Time exclusively on the Fox network.

So what is the show all about?

When an unlikely trio uncovers a deadly mystery involving a series of unbelievable events, they discover it may be part of a larger, disturbing pattern that blurs the line between science fiction and technology on FRINGE.

Here is a trailer for the new show whose credits include J.J. Abrams (Lost) and the writer who did the Transformers movie.

I’m glad you put my tip up Astro, any show by JJ Abrams is worth checking out. I thought this first ep was a good intro, I got an X-Files / Twilight Zone vibe off it.

Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long to see Anna wield some swords on the show!
