Ninja Blade has been announced for Xbox 360 by From Software, makers of the Tenchu and Armored Core franchises.
Their new game is a hack-and-slash action game and was revealed at a Japaneses Microsoft press conference in which price cuts for the Xbox 360 were also announced along with the reveal of From Software’s new Ninja Blade game.
A trailer was also released which shows some pre-rendered action that you can see below, and features a modern-day Tokyo setting in a scene similar to what you’d expect from Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden series.
Ninja Blade has a current release date of 2009 in Japan and has yet to be announced for release in Western territories.
From Software is best known for its popular Armored Core series, though other titles under its belt include stealth series Tenchu, survival horror brand Echo Night, Xbox slasher Otogi, multiplayer mech outing Chromehounds and next-gen RPG Enchanted Arms.
