If you own Mario Kart Wii, you’ll know it lets you play online in 12-player races against drivers all over the world. Now, you can show off your racing skills in a Nintendo-sponsored worldwide competition.
The ninth Mario Kart Wii Competition started on September 1st and runs until September 10th. Now’s the time to get online and show you’re the best! So turn on your Wii and go to the Mario Kart Channel to get in on this tournament.
Here are the details for the contest:
Race a Time Trial around the N64 Skyscraper battle map. Weave between the Bob-omb Cars to pick up items and get a faster time! Time to get racing, and best of all, you can submit your best time as many times as you like. — I won’t be doing this one, Skyscraper is my most hated map from Mario Kart 64. You’ll find out after falling down the building too many times it gets plain boring going small circles.

There seems to be a MAJOR mistake with the articles relating to the last 2 tournaments (and possibly some before these)…
If each month from May - now has had TWO competitions/tournaments, then May will have seen 1-2, June 3-4, July 5-6, and August 7-8.
Therefore, the Eighth Mario Kart Wii Tournament did/does NOT run until September 10th, nor does the Seventh run until August 25th.
The EIGHTH runs until august 25th, but the one that has just ended or will end today, is infact the NINTH tournament, and the next one, will be the TENTH tournament.

Thanks for letting me know TUK, I’ve corrected the headline now. It’s likely I forgot one tournament during the summer holiday last month.

Correct, I looked and it was the August tourney with DK’s Jungle Parkway
It went
First ends May 10
Second ends May 25
Third ends June 10
Fourth ends June 25
Fifth ends July 10
Sixth July 25
– missed tournament ended August 10 –
Seventh August 25
Eighth September 10
