Samba de Amigo songs list announced for Wii

The complete songlist for Samba de Amigo for Wii has finally been revealed. The game will ship on September 23rd North America with a European release date of September 19th.

There are 44 total tracks with 21 of those being songs from the first game and the other 23 being all new songs just for this Wii version. In the game you use the Wii Remote & Nunchuck as maracas to dance to the beat of the song in this classic rhythm game that originally released for Dreamcast in 2000.

Additionally, the Wii version will be the first Wii game to feature downloadable content in the form of new songs. The first track pack will launch day and date with the game, and will contain three songs: Lou Bega’s “Mambo No. 5,” Bow Wow Wow’s “I Want Candy,” and Jet’s “Are You Going to Be My Girl?”

Haha, you are welcome Reetesh! I know I wouldn’t have recognized hardly any of them as well!

The sad thing is that I couldn’t find proper videos of all of them. So some of them are the same song but a different artist. But oh well. It’s close enough. At least it’ll give you a good idea of what you’ll be playing to in the game.
