The Sims 3 release date is June 2, 2009

The Sims 3 has received a final worldwide release date of June 2nd, 2009 for PC. This is a delay from the original February 20th date.

This announcement came from an EA press conference at the Leipzig Games Convention 2008 where they showed off some features from The Sims 3 including Sim Attributes (both good and bad) and the “Create-A-Sim” mode that has the headline “It’s kind of like real life.”

If you are one of those people who doesn’t like having to deal with store clerks/other shoppers then you’ll be happy to know that you will be able to buy and download The Sims 3 digitally the day of it’s release.

The game will also be available in a limited Collector’s Edition that includes a special tin case and comes with a The Sims 3 plumbob USB drive with matching green carabiner, an exclusive in-game Italian-style sports car, a hints and tips guide and The Sims 3 plumbob stickers.

I really cannot wait for this to release. All of the freedoms you have and the more in-depth character and home creators- this will be something worth spending hours on.

Sorry I keep blabering but… The game, of the movie, of the game, not the movie of the game, that is exzactly the same as the movie of the game, the game of the movie of the game would essecntialy be the game of the movie of the game. mcjakeqcool

Well, for me this iss fun. Sim houses and neighborhoods will be entirely in one continuous map, and the developers state that “What you do outside your home now matters as much as what you do within.” All the Sims in the neighborhoods age and live out their lives simultaneously, no matter where the player is in the game. That was ncie!

Newsflash! It has already been releaced. However more to the point, when will it be releaced on the ps3 and more importantly… the 360?! JQ
