The first Viva Pinata 2: Trouble in Paradise “Vision Card” is online as a free download that you can print out and use with the game when it releases to stores on September 2nd. Simply right-click the picture above and save it, then print it out later for use with the game.
In case you haven’t heard, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise supports the Xbox Live Vision camera in much the same way as Sony’s Eye of Judgment game does, by allowing you to scan cards using the camera. Doing so will unlock items, change the in-game weather, etc. in the main game.
The first of these new cards can be downloaded for free and printed out for use with the game as mentioned above. The card is available now and features a critter design by VP2 designer Ray Stevenson.
Speaking of cards, in the game you’ll also be able to snap photos of items and Pinatas in your garden via the in-game camera and then e-mail them to friends; who can subsequently print them out and use their Vision camera to unlock their contents in their copy of the game.
This comment’s a little late, but just wanted to mention that there is no need to actually print out the cards. Simply hold the camera up to the computer screen and that will work just fine, or probably even better than a printe done.
