Call Of Duty 5 co-op multiplayer shown in new trailer

The Call of Duty first-person shooter series returns to World War II, but this time you can fight alongside your friends in either two-player local split-screen (on consoles) or four-player online play. Watch the new direct-feed co-op gameplay footage from Call of Duty 5: World at War.

If its 4-player co-op, why are you restricting us to 2 players offline on a single console?

My X-box has 4 controllers, my PS3 can also use 4 controllers…This is the ‘next gen’. Why the f*ck are these features in old games on the older consoles (i.e. the first x-box) but not on the new consoles

ITS 2 PLAYER SPLIT SCREEN BECAUSE IT WOULD BE STUPID TRYING TO PLAY WITH 4 PLAYERS ON ONE SCREEN.LOOKIT HALO!! YOU COULDNT SEE ANYTHING. AND THIS VIDEO IS SHOWING 2 PLAYER ONLINE CO-OP 2 SEPERATE CONSOLES
