Final Fantasy XII was released for the PS2 in 2006 after five tumultuous years in development. The game was released to extremely high praise from both critics and players alike as the game shook up what people had come to expect from the Final Fantasy name; By ditching turn-based battles for an all new Gambit system, which has you assigning actions that you’re characters will perform when they encounter enemies in the field. Final Fantasy XII is a very long game with a deep and involved storyline of politics and intrigue as wars between regions and the people that control and govern them rage. In order to help you navigate through the turmoil we present a walkthrough of the entire game.
I know for me personally, I played FFXII for over 100 hours but haven’t touched it in months due to being sidetracked with other games. So for those people this Final Fantasy XII walkthrough will be useful just in case you may have forgotten what happened in the game. Or even if you just want to watch all the game’s movie scenes, then you can do just that.
Without further ado, here is the Final Fantasy XII Walkthrough:
Part 1: From the intro, Reks goes to try and save the king with Basche, but ends up getting done in. Vaan plays with rats in the sewers of Rabanastre, gets caught stealing from soldiers by Penelo and ends where Vaan’s about to do an errand for Migeulo.
Part 2: Continues from where Vaan’s running an errand for Miguelo, till after hearing about a creature from Kytes. Vaan then gets contracted to eliminate the Rogue Tomato by Tomaj, the Licensing Board gets explained, Vaan offs the Rogue Tomato after having to convince a guard to let him go out of Rabanastre and nearly gets himself in trouble. Miguelo bribes the guards to let Vaan back inside, Vayne gets paraded into the city where he gives a speech & wins over the people of Rabanastre, Vaan is disgusted by Miguelo’s sucking up to Vayne and it continues to the point where Vaan gets let into the Hunter’s Clan club.
Part 3: This part includes the leveling with Dustia.
Part 4: Continues from where Vaan sneaks into the Palace until when Fran finds a way out of the Dungeon.
Part 5: Continues from where the party tries to escape until after escaping the dungeon till after defeating the Mimic Queen.
Part 6: Continues from where the party escaped the Barhiem Passage until when the party defeats the Wraith. Basch also joins the party.
Part 7: Continues from where the party hunted the Wraith until when the party comes back from the Lhusu Mines.
Part 8: Continues from where the party comes back from Lhusu Mines until when the party saves Ashe.
Part 9: Continues from where Ashe is saved until when the party steals the Gladius Dagger for Ashe and gets ready to head to the Ogir Yensa.
Part 10: Continues from where the party heads for Ogir Yensa until when the party steals Shielded Armor from Imdugud for Ashe.
FFXII Walkthrough Part 11
Part 13: Continues from where the party heads to Nam Yensa until when the party enters the Raithwall Tomb and defeats Garuda.
Part 14: Continues from where the party defeats both Demon Walls until when they get ready for the battle against the Belias Esper.
Part 15: Continues from where the party gets the Demonsbane sword for Penelo until when the party is back in Rabanastre and heads for Mosphoran Highwaste to buy the Golden Amulet. Also Vossler is defeated.
Part 16: Continues from where the party heads for the Giza Plains (Rain). Then to Jahara until when they are ready to head for Glomore Jungle.
Part 17: Continues from where the party makes their way to Glomore Jungle until when they are ready to fight Tiamat in the Henne Mines.
Part 19: This part contains training and chaining Jellys.
Part 20: Continues from where the party defeats the Elder Wyrm until when they head for Paramina Rift then to the Garamsythe Waterway to hunt the White Mousse.
Part 21: Continues from where the party meets with The Grand Keltia until when they defeat the Life Crystal in Stillshrine of Miriam.
Part 22: Continues from when the party solves puzzles in the Stillshrine until when they defeat Judge Bergan and get ready to make their way to the Salika Wood.
Part 23: In this part the party defeats King Bomb in the Salika Wood.
Part 24: In part 24 of the Final Fantasy XII walkthrough, the party goes inside the madness place Narcrohol of Nabudis to Obtain the Zodiac Spear, one of the game’s ultimate weapons.
Part 25: Continues from where the party makes their way to the Phon Coast until when they are ready to travel to the Tchtia Uplands.
Part 26: Continues from where the party heads for the Tchtia Uplands until when they are ready to break into the Draklor Laboratory.
Part 27: Continues from where the party breaks into the Draklor Laboratory until when they are ready to face the Rafflesia boss in the Feywood.
Part 28: Continues from where the party trains by chaining Mirror Knights until when they are ready to enter Giruvegan.
Part 29: Continues from where the party defeats Deadulus and enters Giruvegan until the point where they are ready to face the Shemmihazai Esper.
Part 30: Continues from where the party defeats the Shemmahazai Esper till they get ready to face the Hydro boss in Ridorana Cataract.
Part 31: Continue on from when the party defeats Hydro and enters the Pharos Tower and includes the fight with Slyt.
Part 32: Continues with the party climbing the tower further till where the Hashmal Esper is defeated and the party gets ready for their last battles in the tower.
Part 33: Continues from when your party gets ready for the last Pharos fight until when they get ready for the final boss battles.
Part 34: The final part of the Final Fantasy XII walkthrough includes the final boss battle as well as the ending credits.
