Street Fighter 5 would be the next big step says Street Fighter 4 producer

Street Fighter 4 producer Yoshinori Ono had something to say about Street Fighter 5 in Capcom’s future. To quote:

“It’s really early to be thinking about that because IV just came out in the arcades. I don’t really think anyone at Capcom is thinking about V just yet. What we might see happen, depending on feedback from the arcade and what players think of this version of IV, we may or may not see upgrades to IV before we ever take the next big step to V. It’s really is just too early to tell, to be honest.”

MTV adds that traditionally the gap between Street Fighter games is large. But Yoshinori Ono isn’t sure if that will be the case here between Street Fighter 4 and 5 as well.

I would really like to see a STREET FIGHTER V game and maybe have all the characters have a finishing move that would be cool.

well i cant see a new sf comin out just yet. we just go super streeet fighter 4 and i been hearing rumors of pending thoughts of having DLC characters on it. plus with marvel vs capcom 3 and street fighter vs tekken next year coming out then i really dont see a need to keep it going unless they are making one last stand on it. Me tho i am just hoping on the DLC characters to be added to SSF4.

I hope that they bring Shin Akuma back and make his raging demon move mean instant death and then 32 hit combo popping up afterwards like it did in Street Fighter Alpha I think it was instead of going punch, punch and so on 32 times.

I would like to see all the characters from street fighter ans third strike in super street fighter 5 including charlie because u should have his body not found and he is alive and please add hugo and the othe third strike characters that didn’t make it to super street fighter four because it would be great to see who would win between hugo and hakana.

They have totally messed up Street Fighter IV. Why not a 3D game with 3D fighting? It was a cool game SSFIV. But, they need to fix their engine SERIOUSLY! I mean like every time you hit there is a 1 second delay with some effects. It in SFIV and SSFIV. They need to use the Capcom vs SNK engine and load up some parry’s and counter moves using like holding down and back and pressing Triangle and Circle. Reaction timing is definitely needed in this game. Please create this Capcom in like your next Street Fighter. And make our jaws drop with a completely different engine and way to play Street Fighter.
