Street Fighter 5 would be the next big step says Street Fighter 4 producer

Street Fighter 4 producer Yoshinori Ono had something to say about Street Fighter 5 in Capcom’s future. To quote:

“It’s really early to be thinking about that because IV just came out in the arcades. I don’t really think anyone at Capcom is thinking about V just yet. What we might see happen, depending on feedback from the arcade and what players think of this version of IV, we may or may not see upgrades to IV before we ever take the next big step to V. It’s really is just too early to tell, to be honest.”

MTV adds that traditionally the gap between Street Fighter games is large. But Yoshinori Ono isn’t sure if that will be the case here between Street Fighter 4 and 5 as well.

i think it will be very cool because after what we saw on street fighter 4 the graphics and the moves really incredible man i got to have that game it’so awesome ,maybe in street fighter 5 the case will be more serious because those fighters knows how to make a player get a good time for exemple we could put some fighters to put in like: kairi-pullum:pullum she’s very good when she is doing her upercuts from the front or the back very awesome

Too soon for SFV… I’m not tired of the SFIV formula yet…. they should crank out a SFIV: Champion Edition, SFIV: Alpha, SFIV: Zero or something first, and then try to reinvent themselves with SFV later on.

Street Fighter IV will of course have many revisions before SFV is released

..so dont expect to a sequel,Until the SFIV era is over…

yea they should come out with editions and semi-prequel like versions like
“s f iv : in the minutes just before anything major happens, so we can make you wonder even more before s f v comes out, and by the way, you will never see these characters or hear about their amazing mini-plots ever again, except on those games we fit multiple characters from other games into our $2.00 arcade, hahaha f*** you championship edition”

I think you should make StreetFighter V or just do upgrades for StreetFighter IV because I was hoping for a world tour in this one. Or Apha 3 characters as well i.e. Evil Ryu, Shin Akuma maybe. As well as being able to execute Boss’s Ultra Supers. e.g. Bisons psycho crusher (the one where the whole screen is filled up). However, Overall I’d like to congratulate you for the effort you put into the game and the outstanding gameplay. I hope the very best for you for the future

Honestly I think the game just came out can we finish enjoying this one before we get all into the talk for 5. If anything I think they should come out with some downloads and or upgrades for 4.

i think that if you do which you probably will make a street fighter 5 you should add more characters for example, rolento,adon,birdie,morrigan. like about 20 more characters.
