Wolfenstein RPG and DOOM 2 RPG announced for mobile phones and iPhone

In Wolfenstein RPG for mobile phones and iPhone, you battle soldiers, the elite guards and the undead that make up a total of 32 different enemies. Fight with a deadly World War II arsenal. Explore full 3D environments in 9 levels of explosive action. “As Allied forces bombard Axis strongholds, the Axis paranormal division ramps up activity in a bid to destroy the world.” Crush the Axis of evil and save the world using over 17 conventional and paranormal weapons, including dynamite and toilets. Wolfenstein RPG uses an Achievement-like system, where you win medals for exploring everything and discovering hidden secrets and treasures. You can even test your skills at 2 mini-games: “War” and “Kick the Chicken”.

The mobile development team at id Software — together with John Carmack — is currently working on both Wolfenstein RPG and Doom 2 RPG for mobile phones, announced id CEO Todd Hollenshead at Quake Con 08. He also said the company would like to bring both games to the iPhone as well. Wolfenstein RPG will be released by EA Mobile on mobile phones in November 2008.

Heroic OSA agent BJ Blazkowicz returns in Wolfenstein RPG on your phone, now with a full 3D engine, enhanced from the Orcs & Elves DS engine. It changes the classic run-and-gun shooter into a turn-based adventure game.
