Wii was made for a completely different purpose.
Not for hard core gaming, but for fun. Which what is has been advertised as.

I would say the Wii 2 will come out when either the 720 and ps4 are releaced, but the Wii 1 sucks compared to both the 360 and ps3.

The thing is, there’s still a high market for Wii, and rapid development of Wii 2 while Wii 1 is still in high demand would probably lose Nintendo money. Plus, technology moves much faster than development; we just recently developed Blu-Ray and already we’re building upon that! So, by slowly developing the next system, Nintendo is A) saving money, and B) setting up a snowball effect, as in the longer it is developing, the better it will be in comparison. I mean, Wii was released in 06 and it is still on a market high! And the gamecube, made in 2001, is now like $20; you can buy 2 Subway $5 footlongs, plus chips and a drink, with $20. By slow development, Nintendo is also saving the Wii from gamecube status.

So it really is worth the wait, to answer your question, Smith.

No doubt it will beat the 720 and PS4 to the market with the same processors as the gamecube.
