Flower, Sun and Rain is a mystery adventure released for PS2 in Japan back in 2001. The enhanced Nintendo DS remake titled Flower, Sun and Rain: Unending Paradise has been given a European release date on October 3rd, 2008 by Rising Star Games. A release in America has been mentioned in the past by Marvelous Entertainment, but hasn’t been announced yet.

The game’s plot is in the vein of Groundhog Day. You play as detective Sumio Mondo, charged with locating and defusing a bomb by solving thought-provoking puzzles with a wealth of bizarre outcomes. After he fails the first time, the day gets rewinded as if the explosion never happened time and time again. Solving the mystery of what is happening to him and his surroundings is necessary before he ends up going insane.
