Bungie has 3 games in development
Bungie is in development with three games, one a Halo title.
That’s according to an official statement from Bungie who said that they will not be revealing any of their titles at the upcoming PAX 2008 expo on August 29th. A reveal for at least one of the games was highly rumored at E3 2008, and has continued following the fact that they did not make any big reveals at E3 2008 or Comic-Con 2008.
Here is the full Bungie statement via Kotaku:
“For the record, we have no plans to make any big announcements or huge reveals at PAX this year. While we will have some Halo 3 multiplayer stuff for you to check out, this is not going to be the “big announcement” many of our fans are clamoring for. Rest assured that when the time is right, we will be making announcements and talking about the stuff we’re currently working on. At the moment we do have three distinct projects underway within Bungie - some familiar, some not. Some on a closer horizon, some quite far off.”
But just because there aren’t going to be any big reveals at PAX 2008, doesn’t mean that they won’t reveal something at the following big-show, which is Leipzig. That show starts on August 20th.
