Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for WiiGuitar Hero: Aerosmith puts players in the shoes of Perry (guitar), Whitford (guitar) and Hamilton (bass) as they rock out alongside frontman Tyler and drummer Kramer. Gamers experience Aerosmith’s legendary career, from their first gig to becoming rock royalty.

As players progress through the game, they can rock out to scores of Aerosmith’s greatest hits, as well as songs from celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way. Venues from historical moments during the band’s illustrious career offer the experience of “sweet emotion” and further capture the essence of the band’s rise to fame.

It’s carefully tailored to the Aerosmith experience like one of Steven Tyler’s spandex jumpsuits, but is that enough to make it worth a purchase for non-fans? Find out in this Guitar Hero: Aerosmith video review.

To quote the video review: “Though Guitar Hero: Aerosmith plays heavily on the notion that it’s a must-buy for the fans, even they will be ultimately disappointed by what their getting. The lack of downloadable content gives it a relatively short shelf-life, while the lack of notable hits will strike a negative cord with anyone that just wanted to play ‘Amazing’. If these faults strike you more as nuisances than deal breakers, then Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a hard rock pit-stop worth checking out.”
