The Dark Knight: The Mobile Game shown
The Dark Knight: The Mobile game is a cell-phone video game based off the record-breaking box-office smash The Dark Knight.
The game was developed by Glu under license from Warner Bros. You can download The Dark Knight: The Mobile Game off their official web-site.
In the game you become a mini-Batman as you clean Gotham City’s streets of crime on your way to facing off against The Joker himself. To do so you will have to use “stealth tactics, special weapons (including the Batarang) and combat moves.”
In addition to the game, Glu is also offering a “The Dark Knight content suite”, which also includes 8 animated screensavers, 31 wallpapers, 4 music tones and 14 voicetones, all lifted from The Dark Knight film, in addition to including the game. That’s a lot of Dark Knight lovin’!
Talking about the Batman mobile game, Jill Braff, senior vice president, global publishing, Glu, said: “We take pride in making great games and are excited to have worked with Warner Bros. to bring this landmark title to the mobile platform. The action-packed mobile game enables players to use dynamic moves and stealth tactics to take out one of the most notorious antagonists in the world – The Joker. We’re delighted to bring The Dark Knight mobile game to Batman fans around the world.”
Another cell-phone related The Dark Knight thing is a new special edition Nokia clamshell. Released only in the US by Verizon and named the “Nokia 6205 The Dark Knight”, the handset includes a Batman emblem, a Joker playing card and other Batman-related stuff.
