Tales of the Abyss hands DOWN. AD Skills, Free Roaming, and FoF Fields make for a perfect battle system that gave me an experience like no other.

tales of the abyss was my favorite

Tales of Symphonia. The characters and voice acting were top-notch, and the battle system was immensely entertaining (loved Unison techniques and the Summons). In the end, it was a beautifully endearing and touching tale of two worlds trying to unite amidst war, discrimination, and fate itself.

Tales of Phantasia, which reigns among the greatest Super Famicom RPGs of all time. Come on, how many games back then had a J-Pop intro theme with vocals?

(Color me impressed by small things. I marveled when Ski or Die, an NES game, had vocals. Name ten NES games with voice acting. Go ahead, I’ll wait. Honest.)

Tales of Symphonia because it’s the only Tales game I have so far but it’s so good I want to get the other ones as well.

abyss…..loved it!!!

Tales of Symphonia…best by far!!!

Its between ToD and ToE for me. Destiny had a laid-back country boy who was relunctant to be a hero, or do anything more than sleep. It was also humorous and had a lot of NPC interaction. I think i also liked that the voices remained japanese while everything else was translated. it had a decent story all around with nice plot twists.

I love Eternia because again its not an epic struggle between someone destined, its just another laid back, rather let someone else do it kind of kid. he wasnt all gungho about helping or anything. I also loved eternia’s battle system and the summoning lvl thing. I think eternia’s the best because there was just so much you could do in the game and there was also a variety of characters and personalities( a whole world of darker skinned characters, that’s rare in RPGs).

Yeah i think i’m going with ToE, hands down. Who doesn’t love quickie?

My favorite game in the Tales Series is Tales of Eternia. It was great with the interaction of the characters and the humor was top notch. Even for it’s day I go back and play it repeatedly.

I can’t get enough of the game. The darker skinned characters, the witty banter and the over all feel of the game was amazingly done. Even the battle system was wicked cool. Eternia even had two worlds you could travel between. I know that Tales of Symphonia had that but, Eternia coined it first.

Tales of Symphonia i liked the cut-secnes and two player action and of coures the voices and story ^_^
