First Max Payne: The Movie trailer
The debut trailer of Max Payne: The Movie has been released. The action movie, starring Mark Wahlberg, will be coming to theaters from October 17th, 2008. Based on the legendary, hard-hitting interactive video game, Max Payne tells the story of a maverick cop determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. Hell-bent on revenge, his obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmare journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal.
The trailer seems to be both action-filled and have symbolic meaning with the ravens flying around as Max shoots up the joint slowmotion-style like an Angel of Death.

I’m *really* hoping those angel figures are metaphors. Max Payne has plenty to enjoy without going supernatural.
Yeh it could be from a dream, could just be for the trailer, we’ll see.
