New Cinnabar Red color PS2 coming to Japan
A new “Cinnabar Red” colored PS2 is headed to Japan as a limited edition.
It will release for the recommended retail price of 16,000 yen (including tax).
The PS2 is entering in its 9th year since launch, PlayStation 2 continues to be a very strong seller at retail around the world, exceeding 130 million units in installed base. The introduction of a new color of PS2, even though it’s being released late in the system’s cycle, will no doubt continue to maintain interest in the system. I mean heck, it looks so nice, I might consider buying it. Replace my old PS2 with this spiffy new one . . .
