The chaos sword will win because it can control the person who holds it, it has been smashed to pieces and still come back, it has a mind of its own and it can reach levels that the light sword cant come close to

What i think is that there is no tru way of telling which sword would win. People like yun-seong and sophitia who are good but yet they want to protect the sword soul edge for what ever there reason.then you have ivy who lost her soul and became good.now she can get her hands on soul caliber.these three people are reason why i say that there is no tru way of telling which sword would win.

Soul Calibur IV. You would think the name would say it all. But the truth is not as evident as it seems.
The choice of who would win between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge is not easily made. One would say Soul Calibur because it is quite simply the name of the game and therefore must prosper and also that good always triumphs over evil. Another would say Soul Edge because it's time for evil to win something for a change and it is also a strong sword.
Both are correct but equally wrong as well.
The epic struggle between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge can never be won. It is ongoing and infinite. Each side has its strengths and weaknesses. But just as the darkness can never fully envelop the light, light can never completely rid a place of darkness-there will always be shadows. No matter the purity of either light or dark-good or evil-there will always be a way for one to exist within the other.
Therefore, if one cannot exist without the other-or one will always exist within the other-neither can win. The only way to win this battle is to destroy both swords, which would cancel out both powers, by sheer force of will.

soul caliber will win because there are more "light" characters than there are "dark". And most storylines have good triumphing over evil.

I believe things will come full circle, and both of the Soul swords will rest with Cervantes. Defying all combatants, he will drag them back into the black depths forever....until the next game, anyway :)
