Welcome to our “Soul Calibur IV” competition where you now have the chance to win the following prizes until the fighting game’s release date on July 29.

First prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV bag and shirt;
Second prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV shirt;
Third prize: A SoulCalibur IV shirt;

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “In the epic struggle between the holy sword Soul Calibur and its cursed counterpart, Soul Edge, who will win in SoulCalibur IV and why?”

What are the rules? This contest is only open to residents of the United States. All you have to do is leave a comment on this page with your answer before July 29th has passed at the strike of midnight. All entries must be in by date and time. One entry per person. between to swords that are exact polar opposites its most likely that both sword will be destroyed or at least the users. the reasons is because while soul edge would be purified and destroyed soul calibur would become corrupted by the evil of soul edge so in the end neither would really win

Good will always win over evil, so what i believe is that soul calibers light will pure the darkness in soul edge and there for soul caliber would win over soul edge.

The Soul Edge will win because no matter how many times it may be defeated by the Soul Caliber, darkness and evil still lurk in the distance. That is enough to resurrect the cursed sword to continue the fight until the Soul Caliber is destroyed and chaos claims the land.

I have played this game since Soul Calibur I came out and Soul Calibur’s purity has always triumphed over the corrupted Soul Edge. But, Soul Calibur IV is coming out now and it’s a new time in their universe. It’s time to “not judge a book by its cover” and let fate show which sword will fall and which will rise. There fore, I don’t know who will win.

i personally think the soul edge will win because every soul caliber game has to where you always face nightmare and he usually wins the first few rounds so it could be soul edge or it could go around to where the soul calibur could win it all leads up to how u play the game out

Considering the battle between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge basically boils down to a battle between good and evil, I would have to side with Soul Calibur. Why? Because if video games and animes have taught me anything, it is that good will always win. Whether it be an improbable lucky shot, or a vast untapped power, or an unbreakable determination, or the ever-present deus ex machina, good will always triumph over evil.
