Welcome to our “Soul Calibur IV” competition where you now have the chance to win the following prizes until the fighting game’s release date on July 29.

First prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV bag and shirt;
Second prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV shirt;
Third prize: A SoulCalibur IV shirt;

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “In the epic struggle between the holy sword Soul Calibur and its cursed counterpart, Soul Edge, who will win in SoulCalibur IV and why?”

What are the rules? This contest is only open to residents of the United States. All you have to do is leave a comment on this page with your answer before July 29th has passed at the strike of midnight. All entries must be in by date and time. One entry per person. Fill out your real email so we can contact you if you win (your email will be invisible to other readers, only the site staff can see it). I believe Soul Edge and Soul Caliber will be destroyed in one final epic battle. I can just imagine that both being used in an amazing struggle coming to end as both are devastated. Victory would come at a great cost as Soul Edge is lost to finally defeat Soul Caliber.

I do believe in the end Soul Calibur would be the victor. For that which is hatred that Nightmare shows is blind rage and can easily be over come by the desperation to live and a determination to fix that which should be right. Hence Seigfried’s motives along with the raw power of a light that basically can cut through darkness will eventually prevail. Though more than likely soul calibur will have to be destroyed at the end by seigried’s own hands. Perhaps yoda would provide useful council on this with the simple fact that darkness can’t exist without light, and that light would not exist without darkness. So both would have to be rid of this world in order for the greater good to prevail. But that’s just my opinion.

The Soul Edge has corrupted many people so far and I think it will continue until Yoda harnesses Soul Calibur and begins to destroy the darkness. I believe Yoda and Sigfried will teamup and fight Nioghtmare and Darth Vader in an epic battle. The outcome will be that both the swords will be destroyed and everyone fighting each other will die. Proving that there can’t be light without darkness.

I belive that the end of soul edge and soul calibur will happen in a rageing battle between the two i can imagine the final battle. Just when all seems lost, one last blow to soul edge destroys both of them bringin the world to a state of peace once again.

Soul Edge and Soul Calibur…the epiphany off all that is. Good and Evil, light and dark, yin and yang. All symbolizing the balance in the world. One cannot exist without the other, so who would win? Neither. It’s as simple as that. It doesn’t matter who weilds them in the end either they both are going to be destroyed or they are gonna be put at seperate ends of the world. Either way the balance of the world will remain and will always be at some point pitted against each other till the end of time. So in the end, neither will win and peace shall once again be restored for the time being.

my belife is that Algol will be the winner..having the ability to weild both the Soul Edge and the Soul Caliber ..just leads to belive that if one man can weild the power of both he shall be the winner..makes me belive that Algol being the winner..he shall put and end to the battle and destroy them both(the Edge and Caliber) in the end

Soul edge and calibour are both overpowered so I think they will both be destroyed in an epic clash and although a copy of soul calibour maybe made for the next game I think it will be destroyed in this one!

One cannot exist without the other. I predict that Soul Calibur and Soul Edge are going to be destroyed, and I also predict that Siegfried will learn how to truly destroy the dark sword and would have to sacrifice himself in the process (Hey, at least he’d redeem himself).

I believe that neither will fail nor win. I think that at the end it will just keep going, sure the characters might have their own ending where they either get the Soul Calibur or the Soul Edge and prevail in what they needed to do. But really the Soul Calibur and the Soul Edge will probably migrate to a different area get a new Nightmare and some new characters and improved Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Then It would probably happen all over again.
