Welcome to our “Soul Calibur IV” competition where you now have the chance to win the following prizes until the fighting game’s release date on July 29.

First prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV bag and shirt;
Second prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV shirt;

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “In the epic struggle between the holy sword Soul Calibur and its cursed counterpart, Soul Edge, who will win in SoulCalibur IV and why?”

july 4th, 2008 at 1:21 am what i say is that the soul calibur will win but not because good always wins because i think that siegfried will somehow have gotten the soul calibur and nightmare will be standing with the soul edge before him waiting for battle seigfreid will charge at him there will be slashes and stabs untill seigfreid deals a strong enough blow to destroy the soul edge but doesnt it remains the same but it puts nightmare in a shocked stage to where nightmare stumbles to the ground then seigfreid is just about to deal the death blow when inferno omes to be and helps nightmare, seigfreid now under high disadvantage fights until xiangua comes at aid (not noing who seigfreid was just helping to destroy the soul edge and soon becoming weilder of the soul blade)they fight until nightmare says to inferno “you are useless to me” then he absorbs his soul and while absorbing his soul nightmare charges right at seigfreid and jabs him xiangua then takes the soul calibur goes to lunge at nightmare misses him that takes her to the ground nightmare laughing at her foolish mistake stabs her while this is happening seigfreid is reaching for the soul calibur, grabs it and lunges through nightmares back with the soul calibur whith the hole in his stomach he kills nightmare then goes and destroys the soul edge and falls to the ground to his death do to nightmare stab. Thats what i think is gonna happen

The Light side may win but they know evil never dies. I believe the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur both such unimaginably powerful weapons that even people across the galaxy (i.e Vader and Yoda) wish to use Soul Calibur to destroy the immense evil that is Soul Edge and vice versa. There will be no clear victory, for as long as people seek power, the battle will continue until new wielders have the swords. In the event there was a victor in the struggle, they would either lead armies to victory or destroy the world as we know it. Now as for a decision, if a champion was chosen, i’d pick Mitsurugi not for a popularity vote (personally I’d choose Cassandra or Ivy) but only because beside Sigfried and Nightmare, he has played a vital role in the saga and after a constant struggle to choose either good or evil, he would have the title to either sword, depending on outcome of the battle between Sigfried and Nightmare.

In the epic war between Soul Caliber and Soul Edge, where their have been many battles fought, there can only be one winner. Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the only one who can control the destiny of this war, Kratos “The God of War”. In a suprise move Kratos quests for the soul swords for Aries, as Aries searches for ultimate power over the gods. Warrior after warrior, Kratos knows no fear. He wipes out Cassandra and Sophitia without breaking a sweat. He travels on his quest, laying waste. Ivy and Cervantes fall at his knees in Spain. Raphael stands no chance with that pathetic rapier. Then to the east to take down Mitsirugi and Yoshimitsu. Then by chance he meets the original bad ass of bad asses, Darth Vader. The battle is fierce. You would think with the force and a lightsaber Kratos would be doomed. No one can stop Kratos’s hatred and fury. And a lightsaber has no chance against magically enchanted chain blades. With all his might, Kratos says “Your mine”, and chops Vader’s head off with his mighty blade. He searches and searches, he finds Nightmare and Sigfreid locked in combat with the soul swords. Kratos yells out a scream that scares even the mighty Zeus. And turns the battle into a triple threat death match. At first he slays the demon spawn nightmare, right in the center of the forehead the blade goes. Nightmare demons drain out from the lifeless corpse. He grabs Soul Edge and throws it to the ground. Sigfreid and Kratos lock eyes. Both know no fear. Kratos hate burns deep, he knows what he must do. They clash. No one gives, no one surrenders. But just like Vader, Sigfreid falls. He picks up both the soul swords and lays them on the ground for Aries. “I have them Aries, Do you hear me?” Kratos screams. Aries comes down to earth and smiles. “With these I will be master of even the mighty Zeus.” With all his hatred behind him and his cursed blades, Kratos on instinct alone, stabs each blade at their soul point. The damage shatters both blades. Kratos looks at Aries and says “Not today, God of War”. Aries screams “Why!”. Kratos only reply “You have made my life a living hell, and I’m going to help you. No chance in Hades.” Aries leaves in a flash. We all know what happens next. And that is who will win.

Darkness will always corrupt souls so i think that it will always be the victor. The person who would win with that power would be cervantes. i mean, he has a freaking pistol attached to his sword!!!

The Darkside (Souledge) will always have more fans becauseall the “strong” fighters, but i believe the soulcalibur will come through eventually, now that one of the new characters is Yoda. Since Yoda is only for the 360,more people will go to the side of good, creating the sence of ballance SoulCallibur has been providing for it’s fans.
Light can’t exist without dark and therefore until the time comes i cant make a confident prediction. Because the game is called SoulCallibur i believe Good will eliminate evil in the end

Balance is key, the game itself is the answer eternal struggle without one the other cannot exist. If evil was purged what would be the point of life? And the opposite is also true. I believe that the scales will never be able to tip one way or the other, because life in all its splendor is both black and white. Only perhaps by combining the two swords and having a neutral party wielding the sword would the struggle truely end.

Even the pureist of souls have darkness in their hearts, that is why i believe Souledge will Conquer in Soul Calliburv IV.Even if the SoulEdge Claims Victory in Soul Callibur IV, the eternal struggel will live on in the hearts of the people.Fear exists in the one place you cant escape your mind, and after darkness comes light, so as long as there is fear and hope, the struggle will never truely end, forming the dawn of Soul Callibur V. Even thou good allways wins i believe Soul Callibur IV will change that forever. Both swords have equal strength and both sides balence well and cancel eachother out.
