Welcome to our “Soul Calibur IV” competition where you now have the chance to win the following prizes until the fighting game’s release date on July 29.

First prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV bag and shirt;
Second prize: The SoulCalibur IV game for the system of your choice (Xbox 360 or PS3) plus a SoulCalibur IV shirt;
Third prize: A SoulCalibur IV shirt;

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “In the epic struggle between the holy sword Soul Calibur and its cursed counterpart, Soul Edge, who will win in SoulCalibur IV and why?”

What are the rules? This contest is only open to residents of the United States. All you have to do is leave a comment on this page with your answer before July 29th has passed at the strike of midnight. All entries must be in by date and time. One entry per person. Fill out your real email so we can contact you if you win (your email will be invisible to other readers, only the site staff can see it). I think both will negate each other, causing a draw. Sc4 ending with either side winning is kinda generic.

The fact that 2 master Jedi will be apperaing makes this question harder to answer. However, it is unmistakeable that Nightmare has racked up quite a rap sheet of homicides, as well as souls which empower him. In the end Nightmare will stand alone in battle against the many and stand triumphant in battle but fall before the war is over.

In the struggle between the cursed swords, none will be victorious in the end. The battles will become so fierce that both will be destroyed.

I’d say no one. I think it’ll end in this fasion. So Nightmare noticing Siegfried walking by puts his thumb in his mouth and bites it. Siegfried noticing the gesture asks, “Do you bite your thumb at me sir?” Nightmare replies, “No sir I do not bite my thumb at you sir!” Siegfried shrugs and walks on until Nightmare adds, “But I do bite my thumb!” slightly irritated Siegfried turns and asks, “Do you quarel sir?” Nightmare grins and replies, “No, I do not quarel sir.” Siegfried turns to walk away. As he does Nightmare lifts his sword and trips him sending him to the ground. Angry Siegfried draws his sword and shouts, “Draw Capulet, draw thy sword!” Quickly drawing his sword Nightmare replies, “Siegfried, remember thy swashing blow!”—For those who dont know I just kinda ripped off the first fight scene in Romeo&Juliet.—anyway, They lash and clash, Cling, Clang, Katchaw Katchaw…then finally Siegfried kills Nightmare. Suddenly Darth Vader appears out of nowhere lifts Siegfried up and throws him into the endless pit from 300. “Soul Edge is mine!” Vader bellows. Just before reaching the sword however who better to arrive then………no not Yoda…..no not Star Killer…..NO NOT ROMEO! Luke! “Father come with me!” He pleas. “Luke, what the Phaser are you doing here?!” “You can’t do this, I know there’s good in you let go of your hate!…and Phasers are from Star Trek.” Vader lowers his head in sorrow, “You dont know what I have done…” Luke pats his shoulder, “Aw come on, it cant be that bad?” Vader sighs, “…I killed a dozen children, seventy-two Jedi, two star systems, Samuel Jackson, my wife, and I’ve had several different voice actors over the course of my career!” Luke’s eyes widen, “Wow, that does suck…come on dad lets go home…” “Your right…” The two both walk off into the sunset. “Hello?…is someone up there? I cant hold on much longer…!” Siegfried cries from the bottomless pit. ENDING THE GAME WITH A CLIFFHANGER!!!! Ha ha ha…get it…cause he’s hanging…ha ha…ha…eeeeh…yea thats about it.

I believe the Soul Swords have a Yin-Yang effect, neither can exist without the other and there would be an imbalance. Siegfried might figure out that the very sword he uses to destroy nightmare is necessary for the existence of Soul Edge, he might then destroy it, therefore destroying Soul Edge too, then he and Nightmare will have an epic fight to the death. As for the other characters, they’ll still fight each other not knowing the swords have been destroyed, lol.

Siegfried win but dies at the end leading to SoulCalibur V
Who killed him is a mystery cause all we saw was the sword that did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
