In the worlds of gaming, and movies, in the end you never see that evil has triumphed over good. In this new Soul Calibur release, I honestly don’t think that concept will change. Now especially with the star wars characters being added. That itself can be a sign showing that good will always win over evil. In the Star Wars movies, the good side wins. Also, if the good side doesn’t win, then it would only be a matter of time before a new crusader takes their place to destroy evil. The sword Soul Calibur will be victorious because the light will always vanquish darkness. So in the end Soul Calibur will always win.

Another possibility is that the introduction of Darth Vader can be a sign that the Sword Soul Edge can be redeemed. Darth Vader turns back to the good side. So his appearance in the game could be a foreshadowing of what will happen to Soul Edge.

Hmm.. the force will cancel out everything, the swords will be destoryed cause of this and thats how everything will end.

As with real life events between good and evil (WWII being the best example), evil is never victorious. There’s a reason why every movie shows evil failing at its attempt to succeed in whatever goal it has created. Look at mob bosses. Ever notice how every last one of them ended their “career” in jail or murdered? Do you really need to know what karma a murderer suffers from? Soul Calibur IV is another story with a life lesson that we’ve heard millions of times before, yet must continued to be told because certain people don’t understand it, and they never will. That doesn’t mean, however, that you can’t help the future generations from making the same mistakes the last one made, yet then again, it doesn’t mean they’ll listen, either.

It’s just a simple life-long procedure. You warn the future generations of the horrors of the world, and their decision to listen or not will greatly impact their lives, and no matter how many times we try to help, some will never listen, and will continue to be the example of what not to do in life……

Of course, if you didn’t have those examples, people wouldn’t believe the same story over and over again……

In the epic final battle between good and evil, Soul Caliber and Soul Edge, the world will be thrown back into a balance after the final clash between the blades causes a surge of power that destroys both Soul Edge and Soul Caliber. This surge would also destroy the weilders of the blades, Siegfried and Nightmare.

Only after this will the world become balanced with both good and evil.

The only three individuals that have defeat the evil within the Soul Edge are Kilik, Xianghua, and Siegfried. However, out of all three, Siegfried has been the only individual that has managed to defeat the Soul Edge twice and also overcome the evil within himself known as Nightmare which was created from the Soul Edge. Consequently, Siegfried is the individual that needs to defeat the Soul Edge the most. He allowed the sword to consume him. Not only did he taint his name as a knight but his soul as well. The evil entity which had consumed him still exists since he had managed to defeat the entity within himself However, the spirit of the sword then possessed the armor he had worn as Nightmare. Siegfried not only seeks to destroy sword, but also, the entity which had once held him prisoner within his own body. He watched as Nightmare used his own body to consume the souls of the individuals he had sworn to protect as a knight. In essence, the only individual capable of defeating Nightmare is Siegfried, since in a way, Nightmare is the part created by Siegfried himself. The only individual capable of defeating the evil within is that said individual. Although Nightmare is now separate from Siegfried, he was still at one point the evil within Siegfried and also the evil with the Soul Edge. As a result, Siegfried will ultimately defeat Nightmare. However, if Siegfried does defeat Nightmare, he will use the Soul Caliber to do so. If Nightmare is the evil within the Soul Edge and also a part of Siegfried, then essentially, Siegfried is the good within the Soul Caliber. In a matter of speaking, the Soul Caliber is almost a part of Siegfried. Although the original owner was Xianghua, after she managed to defeat the Soul Edge, eventually it disappeared from her. When Siegfried managed to regain his humanity, the sword appeared before him almost as if calling out to its master. Since the Soul Caliber and Soul Edge is essentially one sword. The Soul Edge cannot be destroyed without destroying the Soul Caliber. Hence, the ultimate conclusion of the Soul series will be the destruction of both swords since both are originally one entity. However, since Siegfried was originally an individual that was separate from the sword, he will be allowed to remain even after the destruction of the sword in order to continue to seek retribution for his past crimes.

No individual will obtain victory, after all this is an never ending battle that transcends history, a tale of swords and souls forever retold.

Yoshimitsu… since he’s always in the way and will always win with his own goals.

Ultimately, there will be no real winner at the end of this sequel or any other upcoming sequels since this is a fact. No good can exist without an evil to challenge it. If Soul Calibur defeats Soul Edge the result will be the same, and a greater darkness will challenge the light and vice-versa. This will continue to happen until the population on the planet is on the brink of extinction. It is how we fight wars and it is how they will do battle in Soul Calibur.

Throughout all of video game history there is always that question of,” will good triumph over evil”. Many games answered that for you. Many others were amazingly personalized and it was as if you were the person. You controlled what the character did and said. Whether the character was good or evil. And the best part was whether good should triumph over evil. Those games were the ones that were remembered most and got the most publicity. The whole point of video games is for you to get an escape from todays society and create a life of your own in a different time and even in a different world. Being able to choose whether good or evil triumphed was the best part. The game was different with every choice you made. Each person could have their own personal gaming experieces based on whether they wanted to crush thousands of innocent beings or create life and protect it and keep it safe. The makers of Soul Calibur IV know this and so they will give the gamers out there of whether or not good trumphs over evil. Or they will completely surprise the gamer by doing something unexpected. either way it is up to the gamer to buy the game, play it and figure it out for him/herself.

The Holy Sword because good always triumphs against evil… and Siegfried Schtauffen looks way too cool to lose!!!
