First Gears of War 2 multiplayer video

The first Gears of War 2 multiplayer video showing the game in action has been revealed. If you’re squeamish, then you’re probably better off staying away.

Here’s a list of what you will see and learn as 1-Up interviews Cliffy B. as well as shows off Gears 2:

* The ability to crawl away when you’re down.
* You can now stick grenades to players by throwing them
* A new flamethrower weapon has been added
* Graphics are even grittier than before
* Many cool new executions are now possible.
* 12 multiplayer maps will come packaged with the game upon release (2 old, 10 new)
* Lots of cool new multiplayer modes to play
* Planting grenades in dark corners . . . .
* The ability to (albeit, slowly) take people hostage (leaving you open for a kill)
