Fable 2 Behind the Scenes: Episodes 5 & 6

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 offers even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose.

And in case you had any doubts about how huge Fable 2 will actually be, here’s some very interesting tidbits for you:

Fable 2 contains almost 200 speaking characters, played by over 45 actors (ages 8 to 80) whose voices were recorded at the London-based firm Side.

“Four of Side’s voice directors ensured that all performances harmonized perfectly with Fable II’s idiosyncratic world and captured the complexities of its inhabitants. The voice recording ran concurrently in two studios for over three months, amounting to nearly 370,000 words recorded – that’s 38 hours of dialogue.”

Don’t believe it. Well here’s a quote from Peter Molyneux himself: “The sheer amount of dialogue in Fable 2 meant this was a massive project. Side rose to this challenge in a professional and efficient way. They have done a great job for us”.
