Sporepedia game characters extravaganza: Master Chief, Mario, Sonic, Navi

The can of worms has been opened . . . And Sporepedia has been flooded with every game character creature you can think of. From Master Chief to Mario, Metal Gear Ray, Yoshi, Metroids and Sonic to every Zelda character under the Sun, gamers have let their imagination run wild by re-creating all of their favorite characters, enemies, heroes and bosses from their favorite games. Not to mention many sexually explicit creatures, which EA has swiftly deleted and smacked the user with a warning.

While some of the creatures look great (Like every single Zelda creature from the video below. Bongo Bongo is definitely my favorite! What’s yours?) others haven’t faired so well . . . . Sorry Sonic, but you definitely win the most “ugly/disturbing” creature award . . . Just look at it! *shudders*

But still, it’s great to see how cool all these characters look in Spore-form. And this can only help the game achieve the massive sales it is almost assured to get. Check out a ton of the creatures below and watch the videos for a great look at what people have been creating with Spore’s Creature Creator toolset (available as a free download).

UPDATE: The number of creatures created has now surpassed the ONE MILLION mark! One-million-twelve-thousand-seven-hundred-and-forty-nine to be exact, or: 1,012,749 in numerical form.

GOD THAT’S A LOT OF CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dies*
